University of the Third Age
The Third
Age: a time of
creativity and fulfilment for older
people.
Stockport
U3A is a member of the Third Age Trust and was launched in 1985
to bring together local retired people to share many educational,
creative and leisure activities.
There is an "Open Meeting" on the first Wednesday in every month with
an invited speaker, and group leaders make announcements to keep
members up to date on all the activities.
Currently there are more than 20 groups offering new challenges,
opportunities and new friends.
